I am a trainer / strength coach from North Wales, UK. I have lived in Dubai since 2013. My early years were spent running around, climbing trees and basically exploring the beautiful countryside of North Wales. During my early teens I started playing rugby and frequently visited the gym. It was here that I felt completely at home and began to train more seriously. I first became a fitness trainer 17 years ago, delivering inductions to new clients, cleaning and maintaining equipment and any other duties that was asked of me. As time passed I began to teach group exercise and shortly after completed my personal trainer award. I then became a rehabilitative trainer, working with special populations such as stroke victims, cardiac rehab and orthopaedic rehabilitation referred to me from doctors.
I then took a different path and assisted the head strength and conditioning coach at two professional rugby teams. Assisting the players in all aspects of their strength and conditioning programmes and carried out various performance and fitness related tests. While working full time in the industry I completed my degree in Exercise Science through the University of Wales. It was then that I began lecturing, delivering seminars, assessing and up-skilling other fitness trainers. The money I received from the courses allowed me to travel both home and abroad to learn from the very best in their field and continue my own education of which I am continuing to this day.
Away from the industry I am a father to a beautiful baby boy and husband to my amazing wife Caeli.
